#2 johnarthur 11 years ago Very likely the mystery snail is not alive. He should be removed as soon as possible. To do a smell test, you don't have to get really close; the odor will be strong enough to detect from arm's length. Sometimes, mystery snails withdraw into their shell for a couple of days.
